Shawarma is a popular Levantine spice blend. It is good for roasting root vegetable in.

1 tblspn Ground Coriander
1 tblspn Ground Cumin
1 tblspn Garlic powder
1 tspn Black Pepper
1 tspn All Spice
1 tspn Paprika
1 tspn Turmeric
1 tspn Cinnamon
1 tspn Salt
1/2 tspn Ground Cardamom
1/2 tspn Ground Cloves
1 tspn Dried Oregano (optional)

Method

Mix the stuff up and store in an air tight jar.

Try adding a little chilli powder for a bit of heat too.
